Delete Your Drivrmate Account

You can request deletion of your Drivrmate account and the personal information attached to it at any time. This page explains how, what gets deleted, and what we are legally required to keep.

Drivrmate is operated by Mainsail Marketing, LLC.

How to Request Deletion

From the app

  1. Open the Drivrmate app and sign in.
  2. Open the menu and tap Account.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

That submits your request immediately. You do not need to email us as well.

If you can't sign in

Email [email protected] from the email address on the account, with the subject Delete my account. Tell us whether you used Drivrmate as a driver or as a client so we can find the right record. If you write from a different address we may ask you for more detail before we can act, because we have to be certain the request is really yours.

How Long It Takes

We process deletion requests within 30 days. Your account stops being usable once the request is processed — the password is disabled and you will not be able to sign in again.

Two things can delay a request, and in both cases we finish the deletion as soon as they resolve:

  • A ride or delivery that is still accepted or in progress. We wait for it to finish or be cancelled rather than stranding the other person mid-job.
  • For drivers, a payout that has not yet settled. We wait for the money to reach you.

What Is Deleted

When your request is processed, we remove:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • Your profile photo
  • Your password — the account can no longer be signed into
  • Your saved payment methods, which are detached from our payment processor, Stripe

If you used Drivrmate as a driver, we also remove:

  • Your vehicle details — make, model, year, colour, and licence plate
  • Your bio and courier note, and any other profile text you wrote
  • Your home base location and your last known GPS position
  • Your QR code and driver code, which stop working — a client holding an old card or screenshot can no longer reach you

Once this is done, the records described below no longer identify you.

What Is Kept, and Why

We keep the following with your identifying details removed, because tax, accounting, and consumer-protection law require businesses to retain records of completed transactions, and because we may need them to resolve a payment dispute:

  • Ride and delivery records — dates, distances, addresses, and fares for jobs that were completed or cancelled
  • Payment and payout records — charges, refunds, and driver payouts
  • Subscription and invoice history, for drivers who held a Drivrmate subscription
  • Reviews you wrote about a driver, which stay visible to that driver but are no longer attributed to a named account

How long: we keep these records for as long as the applicable tax, accounting, and legal-obligation periods require, and for as long as needed to resolve any open dispute. We do not sell them, and we do not use them for advertising.

Copies of data may also persist in encrypted backups for a limited period after deletion, until those backups are overwritten on their normal cycle.

Data Held by Stripe

Card payments and driver payouts are processed by Stripe, which keeps its own transaction records under its own retention obligations. When you delete your Drivrmate account we detach your saved payment methods and close your Stripe account with us once no payouts or disputes are outstanding. Stripe's handling of the records it must retain is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
